Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to Decksify, a product of Ploonu LLC (“Ploonu,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Decksify.

1. Service and eligibility

Decksify generates and stores slide decks from text you provide, lets you edit and theme those decks, export them as PPTX or PDF if you are entitled, and share a public web link. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

2. Subscriptions, trial, and refunds

Paid plans (Starter and Pro) are billed monthly through Stripe. A 14-day trial, where offered, converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Cancellation stops future renewal; it does not refund the current period. All sales are final unless required otherwise by applicable law or by Stripe’s dispute process. Export (PPTX/PDF) requires an active or trialing subscription. You may still view, edit, and share decks after cancellation.

3. Bring-your-own-key (BYOK)

You may store an API key for Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google so Decksify can call that provider on your behalf. You are solely responsible for that key, for all usage charges billed to you by the provider, and for complying with that provider’s own terms and acceptable-use rules. Ploonu is not a party to your agreement with Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google and has no visibility into those invoices. Generation is strictly BYOK: Decksify does not call a Ploonu-held inference key. Without a saved key for the selected provider, generation fails withapi_key_required. Export (PPTX/PDF) still requires anactive or trialing subscription.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not generate or share illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• Do not abuse generation, export, or sharing (automation, scraping, or resale of the service itself).
• Do not attempt to extract other users’ data, keys, or decks.
• Do not use Decksify to violate a third-party AI provider’s usage policy.

5. Intellectual property

You own the prompts you submit and the deck content generated for your account. Ploonu does not claim copyright in your decks. You grant Ploonu a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the service (including public share links you enable). Decksify, the logo, and the product UI remain Ploonu property.

6. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is.” AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. Ploonu disclaims warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. Ploonu’s total liability arising from Decksify will not exceed the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for provider outages, your BYOK charges, or how a third party uses a share link you published.

7. Termination

You may delete your account from Settings, which removes your user record, decks, and stored API keys. Ploonu may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that present security or legal risk. After termination, public share links stop resolving.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Ploonu LLC’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. We may update these Terms; continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
